Today is the day that the King of Carnaval gives his speech and everyone can start doing whatever they want without consequences, or that's what the king always says.
All the cities have his own especial food for this day, most of them are made off eggs or fat, but in my town we make an especial candy that you can only buy these days and just in my town, they are called Fatty Thursday Candy and they taste like traditional candies.
I love them and I always buy some to give as a present for my coworkers (I do not work at my town).
